ShootSac Shootout

Dan and I meet “monthly” with a group of local photographers; we had such a great time down on the landing with Chad Jeffery of Chad Jeffery Photography. Poor Chad “super model extrodinaire” was the only one who showed up at the shoot with the object we were supposed to be shooting, his “Shootsac“; its a bag for photography gear. Had an aweome time shooting mainly Chad “super model extrodinaire” not so much the Shootsac this time around.

However, we took a really adorable photo of Alisha Clark of Alisha Clark Photography. Poor Alisha drove straight to the meeting from New York and none of us party poopers would go with her to the casino for a little time on the craps tables.

Thanks so much to Stephanie from Stevie Photography for getting the group together. We just had to share some of these photos with all of you. I’m thinking Chad should try spending a little more time infront of the camera vs behind it. He’s a natural.

Michael hears a Who and a puppy update…

Last week when we were snowed in, Crystal saw a contest on KTVI Channel 2 to win free tickets to a preview showing of “Horton Hears a Who“. She entered, and won some tickets for us! So Sunday, we grabbed our nephew Michael and headed to Ronnies.

It was such a cute movie. I think they did Dr. Sues justice, but the best way to review this movie is with a child. Michael LOVED it! It held his attention like a vice for the entire time. When we asked for his opinion on the flick, Michael gave two hearty thumbs up and grinned from ear to ear.

Also, as a quick update, we brought Parker to the vet Friday to have him nuetered. Poor little guy. He spent the weekend taking it easy, but we are happy to announce that he is doing fine, wanting to play, and nearly back to normal. He’s still a little sore, but he is going to make a complete recovery. Apperently during his time at the vets, he was hitting on a cute docshound. He didn’t get her number though. Ya win some, ya loose some I guess. (no pun intended concerning his surgury though!!!)

Have a good week all, and we’ll talk to you later.

Dan

Marc and Carmen

This Sunday we had the pleasure of shooting Marc & Carmen’s engagement photos. We really lucked out with the weather. 70 degrees and sunshine, so we thought the zoo would be a fun place. The zoo is still in “winter mode” so it was still a little drab not many beautiful landscapes to shoot at quite yet, but we still got some amazing stuff.  Marc and Carmen were so much fun! We can’t wait for their wedding!
