Ryan, Sammie & the City Garden

Ryan & Sammie are getting married in October and it was time for the engagement photos, so Dan and I got to spend a great evening with this amazing couple. Ryan was extremely comfortable in front of the camera and Sammie was a natural. We did the shoot at the brand new City Garden in downtown Saint Louis. We ended up with so many amazing photos that we could hardly narrow it down to only 16.

Ryan & Sammie where in the process of buying a new home. They had not gotten the official word that the house was theirs, however; during the shoot Ryan got the call and they are now HOME OWNERS. They were so excited and it made the shoot just that much more special being able to share in the joy of them getting their first home. Congrats you guys we are really happy for both of you.

blog_eshoot-014 Ryan and Sammie were so in to their photos that Dan did a little painting with light. It’s a technique that he has been waiting to use for just the right couple and these two were up for anything! They sat in near-complete darkness while “painted” them with a flashlight during a long exposure. They are even going to do our first trash the dress session!!! I honestly think Dan is ready to adopt these two !! Stay turned for what I imagine will be some amazing wedding photos.

Casey and Gina are married!

We had the honor of shooting Gina & Casey’s wedding on Saturday. Gina was there when Dan and I got engaged and we were thrilled to find out she met this adorable Casey and they were getting married. Gina is a terrific gal who has met and married the love of her life. These two were just adorable together. At one point we were shooting Gina when Casey was over come with love she began to weep stating that Gina looked so beautiful.

It was such an honor for us to witness the joining of these two wonderful women. Dan and I wish you many years of happiness and continued love throughout your marriage.

Of course the brides didn’t want to see each other before the wedding, so we snapped this pictures of the sweetly holding hands around the corner after getting ready.
