Jameson and Paige are married!
March 4, 2010 – 1:44 pm
Ok. A quick admission of guilt. This is an example of what happens when you forget to hit the “Publish” button in Wordpress. Your blog entry sits there where nobody can see it. Since we write the blog, we don’t usually have a need to read it so we didn’t realize that you couldn’t see it!
Oops!
Nevertheless, we present you Jameson and Paige (recently) married! Since they live in Virginia, we never had the opportunity to spend much time with them before the wedding which is a shame since the are both so much fun to be around. Everyone in the wedding party were great sports. They put up with blinding sun, cold weather, and having to rush to get everything done… all with giant smiles on their faces!
We want to thank Jameson and Paige for letting us take part in their special day!
Santa Claus, kids, and the St. Louis Rams!

This weekend, Crystal and I volunteered to participate in “Motion for Kids”. It’s a program for children who have been impacted by the legal system. We spent the afternoon at the Edward Jones Dome taking pictures of the kids with Santa. It was so cool seeing the genuinely huge smiles on this kids faces when then saw Santa!
When one of the little boys Crystal was shooting replied to Santa after being asked what he wanted for Christmas, he replied… “a Nintendo DS and my family”. Crystal’s heart nearly broke in half.
Over 2500 children and their families attended the event and included sponsors like St. Louis Rams, St. Louis Bar Foundation, and St. Louis Bar Association, Catholic Charities, Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition, First Book, Grace Hill-PATCH, and Midwest Litigation Services.
There was so much for the kids to do including a book corner, and inflatable rock climbing wall, St. Louis Rams cheerleaders, music, and even getting to play catch on the field with some of the Rams players and awesome presents!
After we finished shooting all the kids, we packed up all the gear, we took a stroll around the football field before heading out. All I can say is WOW! The field looks a LOT smaller on TV!
We can’t wait to do it again next year.
Mikah & Aubreigh married at Hermann Hills!
December 6, 2009 – 8:31 pm
We had the great honor of shooting Mikah & Aubreigh’s wedding on Saturday. Man what a beautiful day! They were married at the beautiful Hermann Hill’s Chapel and we did tons of photos in the surrounding area! Hermann has so much to offer and combined with this great wedding party the day was just amazing!
Aubreigh’s eyes just light up a moment and Mikah has an amazing personality and totally adores Aubreigh! We had a great time and wish these two all the happiness in the world!
We’ve been voted “Best of Wedddings”!
November 24, 2009 – 1:27 pm
We’ve always tried to stay “under the radar” and out of the mainstream to allow us the freedom and flexibility to work with the coolest brides in the area. That’s why we were so shocked when Linda from “The Knot” magazine called us to let us know were going to be in their “Best of Weddings” issue for our region. We were nominated and voted best by brides around the area!
When Crystal and I started shooting weddings 4 years ago at the request of our portrait clients, we nervously said yes. After all, it’s a HUGE deal to be responsible for capturing a once-in-a-lifetime event for someone! Even after all these years, we still have the same feeling of extreme responsibility every time we shoot a brides wedding.
That’s why we can’t even begin to tell you how incredibly huge this honor is for us. Thank you to our brides who voted; we honestly feel that we have the best brides to work with as well!
