Iphone users can now view our blog with ease!

The Apple Iphone and Ipod Touch are now making life easier for folks on the go. We here at Colortouch Photography want to make Iphone/Touch users feel a bit more at home also.

Because of this, we have added a new feature to the blog for those users. If you access our blog with an Iphone or Touch, you will get it in an easy to read format. If you are looking at us on an actual computer, you won’t see anything different than you are used to seeing on the site, but on an Iphone, it is now clean, and easily readable from the small screen.

So get your Iphone out and access the site and let us know what you think! We really do want to know!

We are open for comments!

Before today, in order to comment to a post, you had to subscribe to the blog. We did this because when we did have commenting open to anyone, the spam robots started pounding the site. We deterred this by making you have to register to be able to comment.

This kept the spam from coming in, but it also made it very inconvenient for anyone who was just visiting and wanted to leave a comment. Today, we put in place a simple mechanism to allow everyone to post and will hopefully keep the robots from invading us. When you place a comment, you will asked to type in a word displayed in a picture.

This tricks most bots since the word is in the form of a picture and not easily readable by a machine, but very simple to a person. We’ll run with this and see how it works, so go ahead and comment away (within reason and good taste please!)

Good news for our subscribers, you won’t have to type in the picture word if you are logged into the site!

We do reserve the right to edit or delete any comments that shouldn’t be there since we are a family friendly site. We will not edit or delete any posts simply because we feel like it. We have very strict guidelines that we follow that give you nearly complete freedom with your posts, but protect people from seeing offensive, or inappropriate postings.
