Portraits In The Park
October 21, 2009 – 12:25 pm
Dan and I are doing another round of portraits in the park. This is a sitting-fee-free event. We will be taking photos this Saturday from 12:00 – 2:30 (or until everyone is done). We will be at the beautiful Longview Farms Park. This park is off of Clayton Road just a few blocks past Mason.
Please contact us to schedule a time for your family, kids, group, or pets!! We’ll shoot just about everyone. Hurry space is already limited. Here are a few samples of past shoots we’ve don at the park to give you a little incentive! FYI the trees in the park are at their peak color for the season. Hope to see you there!

Ryan, Sammie & the City Garden
July 26, 2009 – 12:30 pm
Ryan & Sammie are getting married in October and it was time for the engagement photos, so Dan and I got to spend a great evening with this amazing couple. Ryan was extremely comfortable in front of the camera and Sammie was a natural. We did the shoot at the brand new City Garden in downtown Saint Louis. We ended up with so many amazing photos that we could hardly narrow it down to only 16.
Ryan & Sammie where in the process of buying a new home. They had not gotten the official word that the house was theirs, however; during the shoot Ryan got the call and they are now HOME OWNERS. They were so excited and it made the shoot just that much more special being able to share in the joy of them getting their first home. Congrats you guys we are really happy for both of you.
Ryan and Sammie were so in to their photos that Dan did a little painting with light. It’s a technique that he has been waiting to use for just the right couple and these two were up for anything! They sat in near-complete darkness while “painted” them with a flashlight during a long exposure. They are even going to do our first trash the dress session!!! I honestly think Dan is ready to adopt these two !! Stay turned for what I imagine will be some amazing wedding photos.
St. Louis Cardinal fans Kim and Dave are getting Married
April 28, 2009 – 9:02 am
Sunday was a gorgeous day! Kim and Dave made it even better. We met up with them at Busch Stadium and spent the morning before the game snapping some pictures around the town. Dave and Kim were naturals; they just let loose and had fun with the session so it was so easy to capture some great shots of them.
Time to schedule your engagement Session!
April 14, 2009 – 9:22 am
Just a reminder to brides that it’s time to start scheduling your engagement session. The summer schedule fills up quickly and you don’t want to be scrambling at the last minute trying to squeeze it in.
For those brides who have been on the fence about booking your photographer, use an engagement session to get to know them and see if they are a good fit with you. It’s a much cheaper alternative than diving head-long into a wedding photography contract, and should get you some great pics with your fiance to boot!
If you’re not happy with your photographer after that, then you aren’t tied to an expensive package and can continue shopping. But you will need to start doing it now before it’s too late!
Dan
