Nicole is a good friend of mine heck more like a long lost sister. I’ve known her for what feels like my whole life. She’s got an amazing husband and three of the most beautiful kids I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.

We didn’t get to shoot Nicole’s family the last time we did family shoots as she was busy with shoots of her own. Nicole is the owner of  Hobdypix Photography, so as photographers, it’s sometimes hard to get our own family photos taken. Here are a few of the great photos from Sunday.

My friend Jamie and her husband Ben had little Miss Josie 4 months ago and she’s gotten so big since the last shoot. I remarked that Jamie must be slipping her “Miracle Grow” LOL. Obviously they’re doing something right. She’s now rolling over making anything other than tummy shots a bit of a challenge. Well here’s the latest from sweet little Miss Josie! I’m sure there will be more to come.

I’m actually not sure what we’re officially calling it this year. I wanted to call it “Picture-Pallooza” but Crystal veto’d that one down talking about “good taste” or something like that. icon smile Portraits in the Park 2010!

We will be having the free photo sessions at picturesque Drace Park this year. As usual, we are waiving our sitting fee, so your photo session costs you nothing and you are under no obligation to buy. This a great opportunity to get photos taken with you and your significant other, your family, sports team, or even friends! The park is also very pet friendly.

We will make your photos available online for you to review in a password protected gallery ensuring your privacy. You can give out the password to anyone you want to view the pictures. Even out of town relatives!

We are planning on afternoon sessions to best take advantage of the direction of the light, so plan accordingly.

My sister Katrina gave birth to little Carter Scott on May 12th. This bouncing baby boy came in at 1:01 a.m. weighing 7lbs 2oz and was a whopping 22 inches long. Katrina, Tyler & Carter are doing great. He is an absolute doll and the best baby. We are super excited to have little Carter join the family. He’ll be the focus of many o’ blog entries to come! Today is an amazing day to be us!”

We got to shoot several of our favorite kiddo’s! Erin & Kris brought out Joe & Samantha. You’ve seen them on the blogs for years and I honestly couldn’t get over how adorable they looked! Check out the lollipop outfit on Samantha. Erin has a way with clothes and I’m telling you that was toooooo cute! and Joe’s tie (which he was so proud of) had to be the cutest little thing ever!
