Welcome to Colortouch Photography's blog. Actually, it is more of a blog for us... Crystal and Dan. We are the owners and photographers for Colortouch and serve the St. Louis and metro area. Photography is truly our passion, and we wanted to share with you a little more of us then you get from our website.

John & Chelsea are Mr. & Mrs.

We had the great honor of shooting John & Chelsea’s wedding this past Saturday. Chelsea is the daughter of one of my very dear friends so I’ve watched Chelsea grow in to the amazing woman she is today. She and John are the perfect match. She is just amazing and he has the best personality I’ve ever seen.  They had a beautiful day. The weather was perfect the couple are perfect for each other…. what more could two photographers ask for! Chelsea & John we wish you both a lifetime of happiness.

Patrick & Megan….

We had the great honor of shooting Megan & Patrick’s engagement photos on Tuesday evening in the Central West End. Such a great time… Megan & Patrick are so adorable together. They are what love is all about! So sweet smiley and  happy together. I can see a lifetime of happiness for these two no doubt. Dan and I both remarked at how this wedding will be sooo easy to shoot! Mr & Mrs Mills Wedding!

March 27, 2011 – 9:53 pm

This past Saturday we had the honor of shooting Justin & Lindsey’s wedding at the fabulous Herman Hills Winery. Talk about one amazing wedding. One stunning bride, a handsome groom, and a BLIZZARD. We had the best time shooting the wedding & reception. Lindsey is one of 4 daughters and they were all just adorable. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen closer sisters than these four!

Then we got to go play in the snow. We had probably 4-6 inches by the time we got to the “posed” photos and we just had to make use of the snow! Such an amazing time! Justin was up for anything and Lindsey was an amazing sport. She froze and didn’t mind horribly that our posed pictures turned in to an impromptu “Trash The Dress” session!

The Helming House – Herman Missouri

March 27, 2011 – 9:42 pm

With the snow that was said to have come this past weekend Dan and I wanted to be prepared for our wedding this past weekend at Herman Hill Winery. With highway 44 and the weather peoples ability to predict how much if any snow we may or may not be getting we decided to stay in Herman Friday night just to be on the safe side.

We called and spoke to Lynn the owner of the amazing Helming House. I must say this rustic house right on the river which was completely refurbished was just amazing. The house was stunning so comfy and down right homey. We took a few photos of the house I must say if you’re ever in the area it’s a great place to stay you get the entire house it’s two bedrooms and has a great kitchen. All of which you can see below. Natalie & Tivis

March 27, 2011 – 9:36 pm

We did Natalie & Tivis’s shoot on Monday night in the Loop. What an amazing time we had. We started out at their beautiful loft. When we met with these two Dan and I remarked at how if they booked we definitely wanted to shoot their engagement shots starting in their amazing building! So we got these shots with little miss Joyo, of their entrance to their building and off their wonderful balcony.

We then headed down to the Loop an amazing place for some amazingly creative shots for two amazingly creative people. They were up for anything and Tivis has quite the eye so he gave some wonderful input that led to some fantastic shots! Thanks so much for a great evening we can’t wait for the wedding.
