Go Diego Go!

As I’m sure some of you know from reading the blog we have a very special little guy our lives. His name is Michael and he is our nephew. He is at a great age and everything is so fun to share with him. We took him to see Horton Hears A Who a while back and we had the most amazing time watching his wonder. So Go Diego Go Live came to the Fox Theatre and we couldn’t miss the opportunity to see him light up again. We decided to take him and his little brother Matthew who’s still a bit young but did very well. I thought this was the most adorable pix (again taken with my point and click) and wanted to share. The plot was saving a baby jaguar’s growl so he had this adorable little mask that they held up and growled. Too cute if I do say so myself. You’ll see more photos of my two favorite boys in the coming months.

Double Trouble

Today you get a 2 for 1 deal! We’ve gotten s far behind in our blog, that we need to put two posts at once.

First up to the plate, is Karen Banks of Details, Details, Details event planning. Karen needed some shots taken and she asked us to take them for her. We have worked with Karen on several weddings and she has been so great! We have had so much fun working with her and can’t wait to work with her again!

Here’s a couple of shots we did down at Union Station

Secondly, it’s Samantha Jo again. Remember, We shot her when she was first born, and now Erin asked us to come back and photograph her at 3 months. She is getting so big!

Introductions are in order…

Hi! Dan here…

I realized that we sent out a holiday greetings on the blog that included our “muts”, but we never did get to propperly introduce them to you. A couple of days ago they were being uncommonly cute, and of course, I had a camera in my hands, so I snapped a couple of shots and thought I’d share them with you…

This is Penny and Parker. Penny is the bigger of the two and is a beagle/chihuahua mix. She’s about 10 years old and is still as playful as a puppy! The little guy is Parker. He is a feisty, loving teacup chihuahua that is full of attitude and thinks he is the boss (and probably is!)

…and here is Pedro. He has to be the most “cuddly” dog in the world. He isn’t happy inless he is cuddled up against someone and under a blanket. He’s pretty skiddish at times, but once he gets to know you, look out! You will have a couch buddy for life.

In this picture, he was doing his “Mother Teresa” pose after poking his head out of the blanket to see what’s going on when I was taking a shot of the other dogs. He’s such a paparazzi hound! <insert rimshot here>   :)

Happy Valentines Day!

It’s a two-at-once blog entry today. First…

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Hopefully Crystals flowers are arriving as I write this post!  She said no roses this year, so I went with her faves… Gerber Daisies. I hope she likes them!

The second part of this post is for a shoot we did this weekend. Erin and her family have been Colortouch clients since long before we were Colortouch!  She had us come out to their house Sunday on Joe’s 3rd birthday to snap some shots of the family for her. Even though it was Joes birthday, Samantha Jo stole the day. How can you resist such a beautifull baby!

Here’s just a couple of shots to wet your whistle.

Happy Holidays From Dan & Crystal (and the mutts)

Christmas is over and the New Year is on it’s way! Crystal and I (and our three dogs, Penny, Pedro, & Parker) want to wish you a Happy Holiday, and a Happy New Year.

The new year is shaping up nicely for us. We are booking up fast for 2008 and even have a couple bookings for 2009 already. We are very excited. We are also be going to make some changes here at Colortouch Photography.

We hope to evolve the Colortouch Website some more, but more importantly, we are going to buckle down and get our blogging up to where it needs to be. We were so busy this summer, that our blog really suffered. We plan to pick up the pace a bit and put out more quantity and quality posts.

We also want to encourage participating our blogs. Go ahead and leave comments. Let us know what you think. Give us suggestions. Heck, even just say hi! We would LOVE to hear from you!

We also have some very exciting plans for 2008. We can’t spill the beans yet, but once we get everything worked out, we’ll have some great news to tell you all about some unique, value-added services we’ll be providing to our brides. We can’t wait to tell you about them! (but I guess we’ll have to for now!)

We hope your 2008 is everything you hope it is and we can’t wait to hear from you!

Love, Dan and Crystal (and the mutts too!)
