The blog gets a facelift!

As you can see, the blog looks a little different. We were never quite happy with the look and feel of our blog so we made a big change today! With the new blog, you will start getting new and even BIGGER pictures!

Happy Holidays From Dan & Crystal (and the mutts)

Christmas is over and the New Year is on it’s way! Crystal and I (and our three dogs, Penny, Pedro, & Parker) want to wish you a Happy Holiday, and a Happy New Year.

The new year is shaping up nicely for us. We are booking up fast for 2008 and even have a couple bookings for 2009 already. We are very excited. We are also be going to make some changes here at Colortouch Photography.

We hope to evolve the Colortouch Website some more, but more importantly, we are going to buckle down and get our blogging up to where it needs to be. We were so busy this summer, that our blog really suffered. We plan to pick up the pace a bit and put out more quantity and quality posts.

We also want to encourage participating our blogs. Go ahead and leave comments. Let us know what you think. Give us suggestions. Heck, even just say hi! We would LOVE to hear from you!

We also have some very exciting plans for 2008. We can’t spill the beans yet, but once we get everything worked out, we’ll have some great news to tell you all about some unique, value-added services we’ll be providing to our brides. We can’t wait to tell you about them! (but I guess we’ll have to for now!)

We hope your 2008 is everything you hope it is and we can’t wait to hear from you!

Love, Dan and Crystal (and the mutts too!)

Reunion

Ok. We’re trying to catch up on the blog. I’m a couple of entries behind, but it has been a busy weekend. Saturday, we shot the Hanfelder %0th family reunion. Wow, what a great group. We shot this event for them adn even provided actual portrait sessions with families that wanted to get studio shots done.

If you are wanting to order the DVD or the Photobook, you can order these from our Specialty Store.

If you want to order prints, then you can order them from our Pictage storefront.

They had more food than I’ve ever seen at a function and it was awesome! The kids had a blast with the inflatble water slide and bounce house they had setup outside. The also did a white elephant auction and it was so much fun. We got some great shots and everybody had a blast. Here’s a sneak preview of some of their shots…

Shawn & Ann

Ok. So the whole blog thing is kicking off to s slow start. I’ve been a little too preoccupied lately and have forgotten to post anything in a long time.

Last week, we shot Shawn & Ann’s wedding. This was a unique experience for us. Many of the people attending were from Africa and the cultural mix was really cool. Shawn & Ann were great and Crystal and I had a blast!.

Shawn’s singing brought a tear to nearly everyones eye as he sang to Ann during the ceremony.

Below are a couple of quick previews from their wedding…

Hello world!

Welcome to Colortouch Photography’s Blog. This is our first blog (ever!) so we hope we can keep up with it!

We will try to update it every chance we get. When something new happens in our lives, or with CTP (Colortouch Photography), we will keep you informed. We will also post a couple photos from our shoots as teasers. You are welcome to comment and interact all you want.

Please keep in mind that we are family oriented and will not allow vulgar, inappropriate, or any post we feel isn’t in the best interest of our viewers.

Ok. Enough jabbering… Here’s a couple of shots from our last engagement shoot. Joyce and Steve were a blast. We shot them in the St. Louis City Museum and it turned out to be a lot of fun. They were up for just about anything and we had a nice relaxing, loose session. Enjoy!
