Megan & Ryan at the Hermann Hill Winery!!!

We had the great honor of combining two of our favorite things…. The Hermann Hill Vineyard and Inn (our favorite venue) as well as Megan & Ryan (one amazing couple). They had a beautiful wedding at the winery. One of the most laid back couples I’ve ever met. Megan is super sweet and planned one relaxed event. Ryan is reserved and strong so supportive and not a bad dancer I might add.

These two are just so well matched. It’s so great to see a couple this much in love. They’ve been dating for a good amount of time and know each other so well. You can just tell they were a “forever” couple. Ryan & Megan, Dan and I wanted to say what an honor it was shooting your event. We wish you lifetime of happiness & love.

Here are a few of our favorites from their amazing day!

Candi & Wade are Mr & Mrs

We had the pleasure of shooting Candi & Wade‘s wedding at the beautiful Hermannof Winery in downtown Hermann, MO.  We’ve had a great long 6 years of shooting weddings with no rain outs! Well this amazing streak had to come to and end at some point but it sure didn’t happen on Saturday either! We are 6 years and going strong with no photo rain outs! (Yes, yet another selling point) :)

Although we had some sporadic showers this amazing couple surely didn’t let it rain on their parade! They as expected took it all in stride and had an amazing wedding. They are just perfect together, Wade is calm, cool and collected and Candi kept everything moving along with grace and style. We had so many amazing images it was hard for me to choose. So here are a few of our favorites from the day.

Mr & Mrs Mills Wedding!

This past Saturday we had the honor of shooting Justin & Lindsey’s wedding at the fabulous Herman Hills Winery. Talk about one amazing wedding. One stunning bride, a handsome groom, and a BLIZZARD. We had the best time shooting the wedding & reception. Lindsey is one of 4 daughters and they were all just adorable. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen closer sisters than these four!

Then we got to go play in the snow. We had probably 4-6 inches by the time we got to the “posed” photos and we just had to make use of the snow! Such an amazing time! Justin was up for anything and Lindsey was an amazing sport. She froze and didn’t mind horribly that our posed pictures turned in to an impromptu “Trash The Dress” session!

Thank you both for being great sports. We have some amazing images from the day below are a few of our favorites.

The Helming House – Herman Missouri

With the snow that was said to have come this past weekend Dan and I wanted to be prepared for our wedding this past weekend at Herman Hill Winery. With highway 44 and the weather peoples ability to predict how much if any snow we may or may not be getting we decided to stay in Herman Friday night just to be on the safe side.

We called and spoke to Lynn the owner of the amazing Helming House. I must say this rustic house right on the river which was completely refurbished was just amazing. The house was stunning so comfy and down right homey. We took a few photos of the house I must say if you’re ever in the area it’s a great place to stay you get the entire house it’s two bedrooms and has a great kitchen. All of which you can see below. If your in the area give Lynn a call!

Chris and Mandy are Married!

What a day… Chris & Mandy were married at the beautiful Hermann Hill Chapel. I must say that’s quickly becoming one of our favorite venues. Not to mention Hermann is an amazing place. I get inspired just thinking of it! It’s got such a great country rustic feel that perfectly suited these two.  They are a great couple and Chris is super playful and full of energy. Mandy is completely laid back and so sweet. They are a wonderful compliment for each other.

Mandy’s parents live on a hay farm! Due to the horrible afternoon weather, we weren’t able to really utilize it without creating an impromptu “Trash the Dress” session! But we were still able to capture this wonderful shot of the two amazing people!
